About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Equipment Finance Account Manager.

This Senior Equipment Finance Account Manager position is with the Construction Group in Chandler, Arizona and is responsible for supporting assigned Territory Managers (TMs), Business Development Officers (BDOs) and the manufacturer programs handled by the Specialty Markets Manager.

In supporting the TMs the Senior Equipment Finance Account Manager will process financing/leasing transactions sourced from construction equipment dealerships and directly from end user contractors called on by the TMs.

The Senior Equipment Finance Account Manager will focus on transactions submitted directly by dealerships in their assigned TM's territories; promote manufacturer programs to those dealerships; and assist the TMs with backup on other transactions as requested by their assigned TMs.

The Senior Equipment Finance Account Manager will be responsible for preparing the underwriting request thru the closing, as well as post closing follow-up items on those transactions they handle for their assigned TMs.

The Senior Equipment Finance Account Manager will be responsible for assisting with customer service issues, and responding to questions from Credit, Equipment Management and Funding. They will provide ongoing support to the TMs, BDOs and Manager of Manufacturer Programs and are responsible for establishing a working relationship with them.

In this role, you will:
  • Participate in establishing working relationships with clients which already have existing accounts and achieving business objectives related to these client accounts
  • Exercise independent judgment in maintaining and enhancing working relationship with the existing clients and meet business objectives
  • Present recommendations for resolving more complex client requests and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the Equipment Finance Account Management functional area
  • Collaborate with existing internal and external customers to build a working relationship
  • Assist the more experienced managers in supporting customer requests for accounts
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Equipment Finance Account Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Extensive client relationship management experience
  • Strong experience resolving and working through escalated and complex customer issues
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Customer service focus with the ability to balance needs of clients, shareholders, and team members
  • Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of lease and loan products, pricing, credit underwriting, and documentation processes
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze financial metrics
  • Equipment Finance experience
  • Proficient with InfoAnalysis and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Wells Fargo Equipment Finance policies and procedures
